There's a few good ideas in this game, but the biggest problem is the jump.
It is such an important feature in this game, as it is the only way to evade enemies, but it doesn't feel good. The character barely stays in the air, and momentum is very linear, requiring you to be extremely precise if you want to jump over enemies.
One thing I really like is the Black and White thing. Enemies can walk over (and in the case of one level, hide behind) black tiles while you phase through them. You could probably make a whole game that utilizes this concept more.
There should be some sort of tutorial, I had to mess around with my keyboard to figure out that the shoot key is Shift.
Perhaps you could add a way to change what direction you shoot in, too.
Yeah I'll definitely add that in the next update
edit: added!
Decent concept, unfortunately all the levels can be easily solved by moving a block under the character and quickly dragging it to the exit.
Perhaps make it so that blocks can't be collided with when they're being dragged?
An interesting game with a unique charm to it.
I think the background could be more interesting than a blank white square, though.
Perhaps the lightning strikes could be telegraphed better, so you have a chance to dodge them instead of relying on luck.
Another suggestion is to exchange firerate for more damaging shots, maybe make the projectiles move faster as well.
Finally, maybe you could try an implement a way to restart after death, instead of having to reload the entire browser page.
Thank you so much for the feed back!
I think there should be a way to flag tiles like in Minesweeper.
The shovel makes this game a little too easy.
Also, you should have the option to convert 20 or 200 metals to their respective alloy output.
Mario and the Koopas are a little bit too tiny, making it hard to defeat enemies the mario way, plus I never had any use for the haystacks.
Like many others, I would love to see this be expanded upon.
This game is fucking Awesome!
