Holy shit, is this why you've been silent?
Once again, incredible choreography, featuring slow, methodical combat carried out by characters of mundane strength.
Instead of charging into combat, both the protagonists and their enemies have a clear fear of death, and do what they can to gain the upper hand. This might've been the first time I've feared for the protagonists in a Madness Combat animation.
Speaking of protagonists, you've done a damn good job at painting their characters using only their actions and the occasional speech bubble.
Not to mention the details and the gore. Headshots have never made me felt this uneasy before, and it's these details that separate Marcelo's brutality from some 14 year old's OC's edginess.
The soundtrack also deserves a shoutout, switching out the usual addrenaline-pumping tracks in favour of more ambient ones, setting the mood of each scene.
In other words, PEAK!!!!!
